Nonstop Health

We are excited to provide you and your family with a high-quality, affordable alternative healthcare program that significantly reduces or fully pays your out-of-pocket expenses.

 
What is Nonstop Health? 
Nonstop Health is a program that helps lower your medical costs. With this program, the District pays a portion of your health insurance premiums and helps cover many of your out-of-pocket medical expenses such as copays, deductibles and coinsurance. 
 
Nonstop is only available on the following plans:
Kaiser HDHP (w/ Nonstop Visa)
Sutter HDHP (w/ Nonstop Visa)
Western Health Advantage (w/ Nonstop Visa)
 
Here's how it works: 
  • Nonstop health pairs your regular health plan with a Medical Expense Reimbursement Program (MERP).
  • You will receive a Nonstop Health Visa Card to use for eligible, in-network medical and prescription costs.
  • The program covers these expenses up to a set annual amount, depending on your plan and coverage tier.
Coverage Amounts by Plan:
Kaiser Members
  • Amount prefunded on Visa Card: 
    • $5,500 (Individual)
    • $11,000 (Single + One, or Family)
  • Your maximum possible out-of-pocket cost for the plan year: 
    • $1,500 (Individual)
    • $3,000 (Family)
Sutter Health Members
  • Amount prefunded on Visa card: 
    • $6,500 (Individual)
    • $13,000 (Single + One, or Family)
  • Your only responsibility: your monthly premiums
Western Health Advantage Members
  • Amount prefunded on Visa card:
    • $5,500 (Individual)
    • $11,000 (Single + One, or Family)
  • Your only responsibility: your monthly premiums

How to Submit a Claim: 
 
Nonstop reminders:
  • Service for MEDICAL ONLY (no Dental & no Vision)
  • Pay as little as possible at appointment or asked to be billed. Please remember to wait to receive final invoice for payment     
  • If you have moved recently, please be sure to update your address in TalentEd Records or with HR to ensure you receive your NONSTOP Visa card in a timely manner
