U.S. History Newsletter #9

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This wonderful, rainy week, we learned about the 1950s and the start of the Civil Rights Movement, and practiced analyzing primary sources.

Shoutouts to Jack Cole for a great job on the Topic C formative quiz multiple choice and reading comprehension, to Jaden Werolin for persistence, and to Casey Chace for always incredible manners. Great job!

Next week, we will continue with the Civil Rights Movement in the Unit 4 Student Notebook, and examine how it changed, widening over time.

The next project is the Civil Rights Road Trip, due November 3rd, and the next test is Unit 4 on November 8th. Students should study a bit each night and not try to cram at the end.

Thank you for entrusting me with teaching your child.  Please don't hesitate to email me with any concerns.

Have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Alex
