CLUBS AND CLASS MEETINGS
SWE officer applications are officially out! Anyone is eligible to apply, so pick up an application in IB204. The completion deadline is May 19th and they must be turned in to Mrs. Goldman's room IB204.
ATHLETICS/DANCES AND ACTIVITIES
Attention all athletes – If you have a sports locker in the boys athletic team locker room, you need to CLEAR OUT all contents by tomorrow!! NO EXCEPTIONS will be made. Anything left after FRIDAY will be bagged and discarded.
The Spring Food Faire is today during both A & B lunches. Chick Fil-A, Dutch Bros, Rita's Italian Ice, Gametime Grill (food truck) and much more will be on campus.
COUNSELING/CAREERS/GRADUATION
Seniors - Purchase Sober Grad Night tickets online at www.folsomsgn.com. The current ticket price is $80 and will increase to $90 on May 30th and $100 at the door. SGN T-shirt pick-up will be during Tuesday and Wednesday lunches through May 23rd and right after graduation practices. The SGN T-shirt is your ticket into the event and a completed waiver must be turned in to receive your SGN T-shirt. Waivers can be downloaded from www.folsomsgn.com.
Class of 2019 college bound juniors- Please attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd during A & B lunches in the Career Center. Counselors will be discussing the timeline and “To Dos” for college applications. No sign ups required.
Attention seniors – The Cum Laude Senior Scholarship/Awards Night will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd at 7:00pm in the Jill Solberg Theater. Many of you will be honored this night and should have received an invitation in the mail if you are to be recognized for your achievements.
Juniors – Are you interested in a 4-week paid internship at PG&E this summer? See Mrs. Reid in counseling for information on how to apply. Applications are due on May 21st and available online.
Students – Are you interested in joining or learning more about the 2018 Forestry Challenge Team? The Forestry Challenge is an academic event for high school students in technical forestry and current forestry topics. Participants spend four days in the forest learning about the ecology and management of the forested landscapes that provide communities with water, recreational opportunities, wood products, and wildlife habitat. MISCELLANEOUS
Lost & Found – Have you have lost water bottles, sweatshirts, keys, glasses, invisalign, sweaters, etc? Lost items in the suspension room will be donated on Friday, May 25th and removed from campus.
FHS PTSA SpiritWear – Your official Bulldog SpiritWear is brought to you all year long, courtesy of your FHS PTSA. We have hoodies, t-shirts, pajama pants, socks, license plate frames, bags and more. Check the FHS PTSA website to see our selection of bulldog wear and show your school spirit. Meet us in the Administration building every Thursday from 3:00-4:00pm. Important library information:
AP testing is taking place in the library through May 18th. During this time the library will be closed and students will not have access to printing in the library. Alternative printing stations have been set up in the suspension room where only black and white printing is available. Please make other arrangements for your color printing needs.
The back door to the library will be open during A and B lunches for students who need to return or check out books. There will be no access to the library before or after school.
