Looking to show off your leadership skills? Folsom High School’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) Club will be conducting interviews today after school in A206 for those who would like to be a club officer next year. If being an officer is not your thing, come watch a movie with some pretty amazing people. All are welcome.
ATHLETICS/DANCES AND ACTIVITIES
Attention freshmen - Folsom football is looking for freshmen who are interested in playing JV football next school year. Spring football is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm through the month of May. See Coach Richardson if you have any questions.
COUNSELING/CAREERS/GRADUATION
Students – Are you interested in joining or learning more about the 2018 Forestry Challenge Team? The Forestry Challenge is an academic event for high school students in technical forestry and current forestry topics. Participants spend four days in the forest learning about the ecology and management of the forested landscapes that provide communities with water, recreational opportunities, wood products, and wildlife habitat. Learn more at our informational event on Thursday, May 17th during PAWS. Sign up in Naviance.
Students - If you earned a D/F last semester (S1) and/or currently are earning a D/F this semester (S2) in core courses (English, Math, Science, History), we highly recommend that you sign up to attend summer school. You may still earn five credits toward graduation with a D, however, in several courses you cannot move on to the next course without a C or better. Four year colleges do not accept D grades in A-G courses; you must repeat the course and earn a C or better. Pick up remediation summer school applications in the counseling office and see your counselor if you have any questions.
