CLUBS AND CLASS MEETINGS
National History Day -If you are participating in this year’s National History Day contest, please attend a meeting after school on Monday, November 13th in Mr. Peterson’s room A206.
Yoga Club – We are meeting at LEAP Yoga today after school. See you there!
Red Cross Club - Say “cheese!” If you missed the Red Cross Club yesterday, they are running a photo booth again today and tomorrow during both lunches. Come and take a picture with a friend or two and remember to smile!
Interacters - Please bring left over Halloween candy to Ms. Cruz or Mr. Yoder for the children at the Veteran’s Day Parade. Make sure your name is clearly written on the bag, because you will earn fundraiser points for donating candy. Please turn in your candy no later than tomorrow.
GPS Club - Do you want extra credit in one of your classes or just need to make up a GPS seminar? If so, come to the GPS Club’s Global Awareness Night today right after school (3:15pm) in the multi. The club is showing the video "Living on One Dollar." Tickets can be bought at lunch for $2 or the door for $3. See you there! Extra credit, extra credit, extra credit!
CSF - Our annual Kid’s Canned Food drive is underway! Continue bringing your canned goods and boxed items to your 3rd period class. Remember you can earn prizes or a pizza party!
ATHLETICS/DANCES AND ACTIVITIES
The Pajama Game - Now playing at the Folsom High Theatre, The Pajama Game! Follow the new superintendent as he attempts to balance his job with his new relationship. Shows are tonight, Thursday, and Friday, and tickets are $10 for students and $12 for adults at student accounts or at the door. All shows start at 7:00pm, so don’t waste time and buy your tickets today.
Congratulations to our varsity and junior varsity football teams for finishing undefeated in their seasons. The varsity is once again the Sierra Foothill League Champions!!! More great news - Folsom football is the #1 seed in Division 1 and we are hosting River City (#16) in the first round of the Section Championship bracket tomorrow at 7:00pm. Way to go Bulldogs!
Congratulations to our cross country teams. We have 18 athletes who qualified to move on in the playoffs. Our boys’ varsity and frosh/soph teams have both qualified for the section team championships, and four individual runners qualified as well. Congratulations to Spencer Pickren for breaking the school record and running the fastest time in the entire meet for the frosh/soph Division 1 competition.
Wrestling - Tryouts begin this week, and you must have your physical complete and online clearance. Practices are from 3:30-6:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 2:00-4:30 pm on Friday. No experience is needed and all are welcome.

Sophomores, juniors, seniors- Do you have ideas on how to end poverty, inequality, injustice or climate change? Consider entering Seton Hall’s United Nations Sustainable Development challenge by writing a 300-500 word statement. Cash prizes and scholarship opportunities are available to those that enter. Students- Do you need a way to track volunteer hours? Are you applying for jobs/internships/college? Come to a Resume workshop during PAWS tomorrow in the Career Center, and build your resume using chrome books and Naviance. Sign up soon through Naviance or the counseling office because space is limited.

FHS PTSA SpiritWear – Your official Bulldog SpiritWear is brought to you all year long, courtesy of your FHS PTSA. We have hoodies, t-shirts, pajama pants, socks, license plate frames, bags and more. Check the FHS PTSA website to see our selection of bulldog wear to keep you warm and show your school spirit. Meet us in the Administration building every Thursday from 3:00-4:00pm.
