Attention all future AP European History students! Ms. Doller and Mr. Paolucci will be having an after-school meeting May 10th in HS108 to introduce the class, go over expectations, and answer questions about the summer assignment for students enrolling in AP Euro next school year. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Hunter Tsai and Spencer Hamilton for winning second place at the SFL Doubles Tournament. They advance to the SJS Individual Playoffs on May 15th at Johnson Ranch.
BASEBALL
Come celebrate Folsom Bulldog Baseball and Senior Day this Friday 5/5/23. Game vs. Rocklin at 4 pm. There will be food trucks and time to celebrate our seniors as they finish their High School careers.

Disney Senior Trip Bus Sign-ups will begin this week Wednesday May 3rd afterschool in HS-201. Sign-up afterschool on Wednesday 5/3, Thursday 5/4, Friday 5/5 or Monday 5/8. Students may only sign up themselves and must bring Student ID Card or have it available on Minga. Students who are not available for one of these times can contact Mrs. Guarienti next week after Thursday. We have plenty of space, so there’s no need to hurry! If your BFF signs up before you, just ask them what bus to sign up on. Make sure you are on one of the Disney Remind Groups for updates! See Mrs. Guarienti for all questions!

Who wants to be a Link Crew Leader next year? We are currently looking for our 2023/2024 Link Crew Leaders.
What exactly is Link Crew?
Link Crew is a high school transition program for our middle school students who are new to our high school. Link Crew Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the freshman to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school and help facilitate freshman success. This also looks great on college applications and helping our school and community.
All Link Crew Leaders will need to be available during the following dates for training, orientation, and meetings:
-July 28th 8-12pm: Training 1
-July 31st 8-12pm: Training 2
-Aug 2nd 7-1: Link Crew Day
-Mics. Meetings/events throughout year: TBD

*REMINDER – ALL STUDENT MEDS NEED TO BE PICKED UP FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE BEFORE 3PM ON THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – PLEASE MAKE PLANS TO DO SO. If your student plans to have meds at next year, new formwork will be needed when the meds are checked in the first week of school.
Please stay home if exhibiting:
- Fever: 100.4°F or higher without medication
- New onset of cough * OR runny nose/congestion *
- Yellow or green discharge from eyes, ears, nose, or any other part of the body
- Episode of vomiting or diarrhea
- Severe sore throat (consult medical provider if accompanied by a headache, stomachache or rash as it may be strep)
- A rash (rashes that are itchy and scaly should be evaluated by a medical provider before coming to school)
- Pink eye (red, puffy, itchy eyes) - needs to be evaluated by a medical provider before coming to school
*Students with documented chronic condition(s) that cause cough, congestion or allergy-like symptoms should submit a medical note for new onset/change of baseline of symptoms stating the student is not contagious.
When can my student return to school?
- fever has been gone for 24 hours without any fever reducing medications
- it has been 24 hours since the last episode of vomiting or diarrhea
- it has been 24 hours since the first dose of antibiotics
- Students with a positive COVID-19 test result should contact the COVID Clerk - 415118
