Attention World Language students!
We have free peer World Language tutoring every Thursday during Student Activities time 1:30-2:00. Come for the whole time, or just to ask a question. Come to get help from an advanced language student. Hands 4 Hope is hosting a sock dive! Warm Feet Happy HART. HART is the Homeless Assistance Resource Team of Folsom. Hands 4 Hope we will be collecting new socks from April 18th-May 1st. A collection bin will be located in the front office and at Century 21 in Folsom. We have a goal of collecting 100 pairs of socks. Hands 4 Hope thanks you for your support for this drive and all the others we have done this year. We look forward to finishing this year on a high note!

The Folsom High School Chapter of the National Honor Society is now accepting applications from juniors and seniors. The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
ATHLETICS/DANCES AND ACTIVITIES
Tryouts for the 21-22 Cheer team will be May 14th. Please contact Head Coach Lynn Starr if you're interested in signing up, and for all the current information. 916-833-8233
Are you interested in Dance and Pageantry? Folsom High School Marching Band is looking for Color Guard members who perform with the Marching Band. Please come to a meeting on May 10th at 12:30 in the music room.
Wrestling Season has started! If anyone is interested in joining this year's wrestling team, practices will be every weekday from 4-6 pm in the wrestling room. You need to have done the online clearance along with your physical. Everyone is welcome, so come be a part of a championship program.
COUNSELING/CAREERS/SENIORS
The Folsom High School Social-Emotional Learning Classroom will continue to offer the Motivation Matters drop-in (now at 2pm on Wednesdays, during PAWS) and the Wise Minds Connect drop-in (now at 1:30pm on Thursdays, during Student Activities). Students should join the FHS SEL classroom for meeting invites.
Scholarship Updates for Seniors:

Students: You can now download your unofficial transcript from PowerSchool! You must be logged onto the PowerSchool website; it is not currently available in the phone application. For detailed instructions on how to download your own transcript, please click transcript on the FHS counseling webpage.
The FHS Peer Tutor list is available online. Interested students can find the link on the FHS Counseling website. https://www.fcusd.org/Page/1761 Students must contact Peer Tutors directly utilizing their FCUSD email address so that tutors are able to identify them as a student. All tutoring is virtual. Peer tutoring services are $12 per hour. Fees are paid directly to the Peer Tutor.
The counseling department is excited to offer drop in virtual office hours for students every Monday from 12-1pm. The zoom links are posted in your advisory google classroom.

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The yearbook staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you have great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we’d like to see them. Our photographers can’t be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
