CLUBS AND CLASS MEETINGS
Music Club will have a meeting today to discuss the details about the Senior Center performance. Please come to AC105 after school if you want to play some songs for the elderly!
SWE Club is having another meeting today during PAWS in IB204. An aerospace engineer is coming to discuss her job and why she loves engineering. Hope to see everyone there!
U*BTJ Christian Club will be having a meeting today after school in B110. Please join us for a time of fellowship and worship!
Please join the Alliance for Bulldog Inclusion Club tomorrow during PAWS in LRC102 for a fun pre-play get together. We will be going to see Alice in Wonderland together on Friday, March 29th and have pre-bought tickets as a club. If you’re interested in joining us, please attend the meeting tomorrow for more information or see Mrs. Keele to sign-up for a ticket. We hope to see you there!
ATHLETICS/DANCES AND ACTIVITIES
Why is the Mock Turtle so full of sorrow? Did the knave steal the Queen’s tarts? Find out the answer to these questions and more when you see Alice in Wonderland this week in the FHS theatre. Performances this week are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the theatre. Tickets can be purchased on our website at www.our.show/alicefhs or at Student Accounts during both lunches. Tickets are $12 adults, $10 students and $5 children 11 and under. Get your tickets today!
COUNSELING/CAREERS/SENIORS
Seniors - Did you know in 2018 more than 80 cash scholarship awards were given to Folsom High School students on Cum Laude night? What did those students have in common? They applied for scholarships! There are 26 cum laude scholarships for graduating seniors closing before spring break. Most of these are for students pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree. If you have questions or need help finding and applying for scholarships, come to the last scholarship assistance workshop today during PAWS in the Career Center. Please sign up if you plan to attend.
Seniors- Are you planning to attend Folsom Lake College in the fall? If so, enroll soon to receive priority registration, which for some groups begins on April 22nd.
Seniors- When you decide on the college you will attend in the fall, please log into Naviance and update your “colleges I am applying to” list. If you need assistance, please see Mrs. Reid.
Students - Do you have an interest in politics? The Women in Politics Conference is a 3 day conference in Sacramento which focuses on the role of women in leadership and political and social change efforts. Learn more about this conference from the organizers during PAWS tomorrow in the Career Center. Sign up in Naviance.
Student Leaders – If you are looking to build skills in leadership and social impact, apply to Stanford University’s 17th Annual Youth Leadership Conference on Asian Pacific Islander Health July 31-August 3. Applications are due March 31st. See Mrs. Reid for more information.
Attention 9th, 10th & 11th graders - Please turn in your AP/Honors contracts by March 29th to the Counseling Office. This is for students who met the pre-requisites during registration and signed up for AP/Honors courses for the next school year. Students must check the AP website for summer assignments, watch AP/Honors videos & slides, complete and submit the “Time Budget Worksheet” and have the contract signed by the student and parent. Students - FCUSD Summer School Forms are now available in the Counseling Office! Summer School runs June 5–July 2 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:35 p.m.
- For students who would like to take an Enrichment Course,you must demonstrate an impacted schedule by attaching a 4 year plan through Naviance to the summer school application. All applications must be approved by a counselor; applications are available in the counseling office and due by April 29, 2019.
- For students who needto take a Remedial Course(s) (a core course you earned a failing grade in), applications are available on the Folsom High School counseling website or in the counseling office. All registration forms must be completely filled out with a parent/guardian signature, and submitted to the FHS counseling office for counselor approval by May 10, 2019.

FHS PTSA SpiritWear – Your official Bulldog SpiritWear is brought to you all year long, courtesy of your FHS PTSA. We have hoodies, t-shirts, pajama pants, socks, license plate frames, bags and more. Check the FHS PTSA website to see our selection of bulldog wear and show your school spirit. ATTENTION ALL 18 AND OLDER SENIOR STUDENTS - All students who are 18 years or older are NO longer allowed to sign themselves out at the attendance office or in the nurse’s office. If an 18 year-old student needs to sign out; they must come to the Assistant Principal’s office to sign out of school.
