National Engineers Week! Come see Kei Kobayashi from Intel present “Engineering as a career” Wednesday, February 20th during PAWS in the library. Extra credit will be given to POE and AP CSA students who attend. Come by and hear why engineering is an awesome career.
ATHLETICS/DANCES AND ACTIVITIES
All juniors - Prom tickets go on sale next week on February 20th for the early bird price of $45 only through February 22nd. Stop by Student Accounts and get them while they last. Ticket prices increase to $55 on February 25th. All guest bid tickets are $55 and need a completed guest bid.
Attention singers - Auditions for the FHS Chamber Singers and Concert Choir will be held Thursday, February 28th at 3:15 p.m. in the choir room MU101. Please prepare one minute of a classical piece or song from a musical to show off your best tone and vocal range.
COUNSELING/CAREERS/SENIORS
Students - Intel has opened the application period for their 8-week paid summer internship program. See Mrs. Reid in counseling for more information.
Seniors - Are you interested in learning more about Sierra College? A representative from Sierra will be on campus Thursday, February 21st during PAWS to discuss their programs, first year free and how to apply. Please come to the Career Center during PAWS and sign up in Naviance if you are interested in attending.
Students - Are you thinking about attending summer school due to an impacted schedule? A course plan must be submitted with your summer school request. Come to a course planning workshop with FHS counselors today from 1:45-2:45 p.m. in the Career Center. This workshop will be repeated March 6th during PAWS and March 15th after school. Sign up in Naviance.
MISCELLANEOUS
All students – Come and check out the FREE Boxing Program offered by the Folsom Police Department every Friday in the Folsom Middle School cafeteria at 2:15 p.m. Please pick up a flyer at the front desk in the Administration Building.

ATTENTION ALL 18 AND OLDER SENIOR STUDENTS - All students who are 18 years or older are NO longer allowed to sign themselves out at the attendance office or in the nurse’s office. If an 18 year-old student needs to sign out; they must come to the Assistant Principal’s office to sign out of school.
