CLUBS AND CLASS MEETINGS
CSF members - If you are interested in tutoring at Theodore Judah Elementary or Sutter Middle School, please turn your form in by the end of the day today to Mrs. Villero in C105.
Attention all seniors who are lifetime members of CSF - The Seymour Award applications are in Mrs. Villero's room C105. The deadline to submit your application is Wednesday, February 13th at 3 p.m. sharp!
COUNSELING/CAREERS/SENIORS
Students - UC Davis will be visiting campus Wednesday, February 13th during PAWS in the Career Center. The presentation will be focused on juniors but all are welcome to attend. Please sign up in Naviance.
Students - A representative from Maryville University will be presenting on Thursday, February 14th during PAWS in the Career Center. Please sign up in Naviance.
Current juniors will be meeting with their counselor to finalize course selection and registration over the next two weeks during their US History classes. If you are a junior and NOT currently enrolled in US History (GPS, AP, or regular), please drop by the counseling office during lunch or after school to finalize your course selection.
ALL sophomores (10th grade) will be attending a Registration Presentation on February 13th during PAWS, in the theatre. Please report to your PAWS class first, and then promptly make it down to the theatre. No backpacks, no food/drink and remember theatre etiquette (use the isles and do not climb over seats).
Students -The 2019 Operation Rescue essay contest is open through April 19th and the winning essay receives $500. The topic is “Our Veterans’ Impact on America: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” See Mrs. Reid for more information.
MISCELLANEOUS
Fundraiser – Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support FHS Junior Prom. Come to Chipotle at 1001 E. Bidwell #106 on Tuesday, February 12th between 5 – 9 p.m. Bring this flyer, show it on your smart phone or just tell the cashier you’re supporting the fundraiser so 33% of the proceeds will be donated to FHS Junior Prom.
All students – Come and check out the FREE Boxing Program offered by the Folsom Police Department every Friday in the Folsom Middle School cafeteria at 2:15 p.m. Please pick up a flyer at the front desk in the Administration Building.
