CLUBS AND CLASS MEETINGS
Homecoming Grams - World Language Scholars will be selling homecoming roses for $2 during both A and B lunch beginning Monday, October 1st. Deliveries will consist of a rose and your choice of either a handwritten or a ready-to-go note. They will be distributed during PAWS so have the recipient's full name and PAWS classroom when purchasing your Homecoming Gram!
ATHLETICS/DANCES AND ACTIVITIES
The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 6th and tickets are on sale now. The ticket prices are $20 or $10 with an ASB card. Guest bids are available outside of the activities directors’ office. A guest ticket cannot be purchased without an approved bid.
COUNSELING/CAREERS
Students - Are you interested in a career in the automotive industry? If so, the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) will be here on Wednesday, October 3rd presenting information on their automotive programs during PAWS in HS109. Please sign up in Naviance or see Mrs. Reid if you are interested.
Students - If you’re looking for a part-time job, please check out the jobs board across from the attendance office. New opportunities are posted when we receive them.
Juniors - The FBI Teen Academy is accepting applications through October 1st. The program will be held on Friday, November 16th at the FBI District Headquarters in Roseville. For more information visit the Career Center internship page or see Mrs. Reid in counseling.
Seniors- Every student should file the FAFSA or California DREAM Act application as part of their college application process, regardless if they qualify for aid or not. Many private scholarships are dependent on filing a FAFSA. Please attend a session at Sierra College (10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24), Folsom Lake College (10/24), or Vista del Lago High School (10/4) for help with this process. See Mrs. Reid in counseling for flyers.
Students - The Peer Tutoring List is available in the counseling office. If you need help please come and grab the list and get support for only $11 an hour from a student who has already successfully passed your class. This list is only available to our student body so take advantage of the support. What a deal Bulldog nation!
Students- Have you volunteered in the past year? If so, you are eligible to apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award. See Mrs. Reid in counseling for application information.
The Practice SAT and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) will take place at Folsom High School on Saturday, October 13th at 8:00am, with check in starting at 7:00am. All juniors who plan to attend college are encouraged to take this test. The price of the test is $25 and there are no refunds or transfers once a ticket is purchased. Tickets are being sold to juniors at Student Accounts and will be available to sophomores on October 1st. Purchase your ticket early because there are limited seats available.

FHS PTSA SpiritWear – Your official Bulldog SpiritWear is brought to you all year long, courtesy of your FHS PTSA. We have hoodies, t-shirts, pajama pants, socks, license plate frames, bags and more. Check the FHS PTSA website to see our selection of bulldog wear and show your school spirit. Meet us in the Administration building every Thursday from 3:00-4:00pm.
