PHOTOS: Natoma Station volunteer receives surprise honor for service
This is what it looks like when an entire school surprises you to say thanks for your countless hours of service.
Marilyn Hylton, a grandparent at Natoma Station Elementary, has for years used her time and energy to help coordinate elaborate, beloved school theater and musical performances - from the annual Veteran's Day tribute to today's second grade holiday performance.
In honor of her volunteer service, on Dec. 15 the school dedicated the multipurpose stage in her honor by officially naming it "Marilyn Hylton Stage."
