Cordova High alum returns as School Resource Officer
Cordova High is getting a new School Resource Officer (SRO) who isn’t a stranger to the school. In fact Officer Tracey Jacobs graduated from Cordova High in 1990 and is glad to be back serving at her former high school.
SRO Jacobs has worked with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department for 15 years, and for the Rancho Cordova Police Department since 2007. She is regularly seen at CHS supporting athletics and other events on campus engaging with students. Most recently SRO Jacobs received an “Unsung Hero,” award from the City of Rancho Cordova for her work in the community.
SRO Jacobs jumped at the chance to serve at her alma mater, because “Once a Lancer, Always a Lancer.” She’ll be serving at both at Mills Middle and Cordova High.
