Folsom Cordova names Mariah Chavez-Vasquez, Supervisor of Food Services.

Ms. Chavez-Vasquez will assist in planning, organizing, and operating food service programs, including food service operations and quality control standards, procedures, and regulations.

Prior to joining FCUSD, Ms. Chavez-Vasquez was most recently the Food and Nutrition District Clerk for Galt Joint Union Elementary School District where she created training materials for food and nutrition staff, supported menu production, and processed lunch applications from families. With a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition from UC Davis, Ms. Chavez-Vasquez has expertise in nutrition and standardization of recipes, along with budgeting and managerial services. Her experience in food services includes working in restaurants, hospitals, and schools.
