Alicia Caddell has been named the 2023 California Administrator of the Year for CTE!

This Annual Awards Program by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) honors educational leaders who strive to create and support equitable educational opportunities for California students.

Alicia Caddell has served as FCUSD’s Career Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator since July 2016. She is passionate about College & Career Readiness and has created CTE programs that meet the criteria of high demand and high wage careers. Her work resulted in new work-based learning opportunities, AP, Honors and the first dual enrolled courses, as well as strong Career Technical Student Organizations to support the needs of the students. She has been instrumental in securing over $16 million in grant funding for program and facilities improvements, equipment and work-based learning and Career Technical Student Organizations. Mrs. Caddell oversees CTE programs in 10 Industry Sectors and 20 Pathways at FCUSD high schools.
