Special Board meeting 7/14 - Recommendation for a fourth option for Distance Learning

District leadership and staff continue to build and plan scheduling models for the 2020-21 school year that prioritize the health and safety of our staff and students while developing instructional delivery that is high quality and engaging.

A Special Board Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 14 at 6 p.m., in order for the Board to give staff direction to offer a full Distance Learning option for when we return to school. A Distance Learning option would be in addition to the three current offerings as listed below. It is also the model that would be used district-wide if state and local health officials mandate another "shelter in place.”

  • AM/PM Transitional/Hybrid (TK - 12)
  • Folsom Cordova Community Charter homeschool program (grades TK - 8)
  • Walnutwood Independent Study (grades 7 - 12)
