Tony Award winner Roger Bart is coming to Cordova High's Performing Arts Center

Broadway star and Tony Award winning Actor Roger Bart will be performing at the Cordova High School Performing Arts Center in February.

Roger Bart is best known for originating the role of 'Carmen Ghia' in Mel Brooks' Broadway musical, The Producers, for which he received Tony and Drama Desk nominations. Bart revisited the character he played in Producers when it was adapted into a film by Universal. Bart won Tony and Desk Drama Awards for his role playing Snoopy in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown on Broadway.  Bart is currently recurring on the new EPIx series, Graves, starring opposite Nick Nolte and Sela Ward. He also starred on the Netflix series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, playing Vice-Principal Nero opposite Neil Patrick Harris. His recent film pedigree includes the independent film, Speech & Debate, which was adapted from Stephen Daram's acclaimed off-Broadway play as well as Trumbo, which was directed by Jay Roach and starred Bryan Cranston.


Bart is the singing voice of Hercules in the Disney animated film and voiced the character of Scamp in Lady and the Tramp 2. Other Broadway credits include: Young Frankenstein, Disaster, Triumph of Love and The Frogs. Other film credits include: American Gangster, Last Vegas, Law Abiding Citizens and the Stepford Wives. Bart has also recurred in a number of television series: 30 Rock, Desperate Housewives, Law & Order, Episodes, and Grace and Frankie and many more.


Bart's performance will be Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7:00 p.m. General tickets range from $15 to $40, with the option of purchasing special meet and greet plus performance tickets for $60. Reserve your tickets today. The event will help support the Cordova High Drama Program.
