Jonathan Johnson announced as Theodore Judah principal for the 2021-22 school year
Folsom Cordova Unified School District is pleased to announce that Jonathan Johnson will be the principal for Theodore Judah, starting next 2021-22 school year. Mr. Johnson has worked in education for 13 years and has been an administrator with FCUSD since 2013. As the Assistant Principal (AP) at Cordova High, he was an instrumental member of the team that brought the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) to the school. For the last five years, he has served as an AP at Vista del Lago, working with staff on Professional Learning Communities (PLC), staff training and development on instructional strategies, Academic Interventions, positive school culture programs, and integrating technology in the classroom to enhance learning. An ardent “champion of learning for all students,” he enjoys working with students of all ability levels so every student may achieve success at school.
Johnson calls Folsom his home where he has lived for the last 11 years with his wife, an attorney for Sacramento County, and their two children, both of whom attend FCUSD schools. When asked about leading Theodore Judah, he replied that “Theodore Judah has a long tradition as a center of learning for the Folsom community. I am looking forward to working with Theodore Judah students, staff and families, to continue that tradition of educational excellence.”
