Assemblyman visits Folsom Hills to explore STEM program
Assemblyman Kevin Kiley visited Folsom Hills Elementary on Oct. 6 to see what STEM education looks like in K-5 education.
Kiley toured various classrooms with Principal Shawn Lundberg to observe STEM learning activities. He got to see Mrs. Baciocco's Kindergartners exploring human body organs, Mrs. Kirk's first graders using iPads to explore animal adaptations, Mrs. Bjork's 2nd graders doing an "unplugged" computer science programming activity and Mrs. Ducat's 5th graders engaging in infection detection simulations.
Kiley represents the Sixth Assembly District, which includes Placer, Sacramento, and El Dorado counties.
