Folsom Cordova is pleased to announce that Jeanine Holton will join the team at Folsom Middle School as an Assistant Principal, beginning next school year 2021-22.
Ms. Holton, a graduate of Cordova High School, has been an educational leader at FCUSD since 2007. She has taught English at both Mills Middle School and Folsom High School and most recently was the Assistant Principal at Vista del Lago High School. Ms. Holton holds her Bachelor of Arts degree from CSU Sacramento, as well as a Master's degree in Education and she is a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT). When asked why she chose education as a career, Ms. Holton remarked, “I have chosen to dedicate my life to the field of education so that I can help develop and encourage tomorrow's leaders. I want all students to believe that if they set their minds on a goal, they are capable of anything. I strive to support students in identifying their gifts, and to become passionate about learning.”
Keeping with the tradition of FCUSD education, Ms. Holton’s four daughters are all FCUSD students or alumni, one of whom just graduated from Folsom High. Join us in welcoming Ms. Holton to Folsom Middle School.
