FCUSD Special Education Department & Community Advisory Committee Meeting

The Folsom Cordova Unified School District Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) will be hosting a virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will begin with a presentation on the mission of the Community Advisory Committee and will also include a virtual introduction to the Special Education department staff who support special education programs at FCUSD school sites.

The CAC is a Board of Education approved committee made up of parents, community members, and District Staff concerned with the needs of children with disabilities. The goal is to empower and assist parents of students with special needs to become effective team members in their child’s education. CAC advises and works collaboratively with FCUSD on special education policies, procedures, programs, and parents’ education in the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA).
