Cordova High: proud to host to statewide conference on technology in education
Cordova High School was the setting for the annual Fall CUE Conference last weekend, attracting over 800 educators from the western US and Canada, to learn best practices for using technology as a tool to support all aspects of education. FCUSD's education tech staff, ETIS, along with CHS staff and students, pitched in to help with logistics and operations over the weekend. Superintendent, Dr. Sarah Koligian, gave opening remarks and introduced Saturday's keynote speaker. #FCUSDproud #TeamFCUSD

According to FCUSD Chief Technology Officer, Kimberly Harrison, “as instructional resources shift to a more digital delivery system, technology becomes increasingly important.” Technology is “becoming ubiquitous with learning, for both students and teachers.” FCUSD stands out as an educational leader in technology due in part to a “very stable and strong network backbone.”
We are honored to have been chosen to host the Fall Cue Conference and proud we could showcase our beautiful CHS campus and facilities - which got multiple praises throughout the weekend! Most grateful to the City of Rancho Cordova and the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce for the great hotel options, restaurants and local amenities that helped make the attendees’ visit here so positive.
