Cordova High announces new Interim Head Football Coach

Headshot Kyle WilliamsFolsom Cordova takes great pleasure in introducing Kyle Williams as the Cordova High School Interim Head Football Coach.

A very familiar face in our community, Coach Williams is a CHS alumnus, who played for legendary Max Miller, and played in the semi-pro football league for seven years before he started his football coaching career. From 2010 to 2013, Coach Williams returned to Rancho Cordova to be a part of the Jr. Lancers staff. He then spent time coaching in Orville and at Pleasant Grove from 2015 to 2017. In 2021, Kyle came home to CHS to coach the JV and Varsity teams as the line coach. Coach Williams’ connection to the community and CHS will serve him well in his new leadership role. He will tell you that the experience he shared at CHS as a student-athlete changed his life and now wants to “give back to the community and promote academics and athletics at CHS.”

Coach Williams measures success of student-athletes by how well they do in the classroom and by the positive character they develop. He believes that football can teach self-discipline and respect and can create friendships for life. CHS and FCUSD are proud of our alumni who come back to support students, the community, and the District and are excited to have Coach Williams as the Head Football Coach for the 2022-23 season.
