VIDEO: Intel employees volunteer to inspire future engineers
It was clear students enjoyed their interactions with Intel employees who visited their schools for Engineer's Week based on their smiles and laughs, plus curious questions, making it fun for students to learn about engineering.
Intel employee volunteers visited our schools to teach our students through STEM learning activities and inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM and Intel.
The following schools participated in Engineer's Week: Carl Sundahl, Cordova Meadows, Cordova Villa, Gold Ridge, Natoma Station, Russell Ranch, Sandra J. Gallardo, Theodore Judah, Sutter Middle, Folsom Community Charter School and Folsom High.
Our Intel volunteers said it was awesome to see the students really engaging with them and enjoying the activities. Engineering Week is clearly memorable for them and will positively color their feelings about STEM education, said Stephanie Smith of Intel.
