Amanda Walsh named AP for Cordova Meadows
Folsom Cordova is pleased to announce Amanda Walsh as the new Assistant Principal for Cordova Meadows Elementary.
Ms. Walsh comes to us from Davis Joint Unified School District (DJUSD) and has over 20 years of teaching experience at the pre-K and elementary grade levels. In 2020, she lead the DJUSD Elementary Power Up Summer School Program, overseeing staff hiring, professional development, instructional leadership, and communication to parents. Her expertise includes being an Instructional Coach for her school site and providing support for her schools’ Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Ms. Walsh is excited to bring her “passion for building community and social justice to the Folsom Cordova school community,” and has volunteered her time to community sports leagues and local PTAs. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis, and her Master of Education from the University of California, Los Angeles.
