Community support and holiday donations for students in need
As we get closer to the holidays and our attention turns to celebrating with family and friends, we are also reminded of those in need. Over the years, we have seen a generous outpouring of support for our families and students in need.
Did you know that FCUSD has a Homeless Student Services department? Our staff provides critical educational support for our most vulnerable students, connecting them with resources for academic, social and emotional learning, and logistical needs so they can experience success in school. As with all of our educational efforts, we cannot do this alone. We partner with many agencies in the community and work together to help students.
If you are interested in supporting students and families, with gifts and donations, we encourage you to give to any of our community partners who are working in tandem with FCUSD’s Homeless Student Services to connect needs to resources:
Important: If you are in need of any of these supports, please check with the individual community partner about availability.
