Announcing Director of Social Emotional Learning and Equity, Dr. Iyuanna Pease
Folsom Cordova is pleased to welcome Dr. Iyuanna Pease as our Director of Social Emotional Learning and Equity. Dr. Pease comes to us from Sacramento City USD, where she was most recently the Principal of Arthur A. Benjamin Health Professions High School. During her time at SCUSD, Dr. Pease also served as the Assistant Principal at C.K. McClatchy High School, and as their Coordinator of Student Support. Her breadth of experience has included working at Solano County Office of Education and Twin Rivers USD. With over 12 years of education experience, Dr. Pease has focused on social-emotional learning supports, counseling, intervention supports, academic advancement strategies, curriculum development, and researched-based restorative justice practices.
Dr. Pease earned her B.A. from California State University, Sacramento, her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from National University, and her Doctorate of Education from Brandman University. She is “committed to providing an equitable and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff through the establishment of building relationships with all stakeholders, improving school climate and serving the whole child.”
