State of our Schools event brings staff and community leaders together
At our first annual, State of our Schools event, we had the opportunity to thank our community partners, show them how their involvement contributes to student success and encourage their continued involvement. Over 200 attendees from all sectors of community leadership came to hear Superintendent Dr. Sarah Koligian share information about our district, schools, students and programs.
Did you know? We serve 20,345 students, have 33 schools and 2012 employees, 18 Career Pathways, 11 distinguished schools, and a 97% graduation rate. An overview and presentation from the event can be found here.
The stars of the morning were our students! JROTC posted the colors at the start. CHS Culinary Academy students made breakfast, CHS Agricultural Academy students created centerpieces and the Sutter Middle School student orchestra serenaded the crowd. Watch a video highlighting students preparing for the event.
We are grateful for the over 100 local community organizations who have provided internships, industry interaction, volunteers, donations and valuable resources for our students and schools.
