Tonight, May 13 - District Chorus performance. Arrive 5:10 pm. Folsom High.

Tuesday, May 14 - Beginning String and General music concert. 10:45 am - 11:30 am. Please pack sack lunch for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade if you can, as they are eating lunch at the same time.

Wednesday, May 15 - Windham's Class Play. 9:00 am Room 13.

Wednesday, May 15 - Last Chorus Rehearsal - 2:45 pm, Multi.

Thursday, May 16 - FLES performance. 4th & 5th. 9:15 am, Multi.

Friday, May 17 - Last day to wear your fox shirt for Spirit Day points.

Friday, May 17 - Future Student Council speeches. 8:25 am, Multi.

Friday, May 17 - Incoming Sutter 6th grader's event. 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. SMS. See story below.

Looking Ahead...

May 22 - Grad Walk - Vista High School students return 9:20 am.

May 24 - Min day for all: TK/K (8:25 - 11:46 am), Grades 1 -5 (8:25 - 1:31).

May 27 - Memorial Day Holiday - No school.

May 28 - All TK and Kinder early. (8:25 - 11:46 am).

May 29 - Min day for all: TK/K (8:25 - 11:46 am), Grades 1 -5 (8:25 - 1:31)..

May 30 - Last Day of School. Super Min day for all: TK/K (8:25-11:46 am), Grades 1-5 (8:25 - 11:48 am).

TB needs to be current or you will lose your fingerprints....

We still have 27 people with expired TB at Folsom Hills.

I have put a green sticker on the back of your badge with your tb expired date. If it is green you are good.

Information from our district:

IMPORTANT: If a fingerprinted volunteer is found to have an expired TB, we will have to remove their status as a volunteer, including their fingerprint records. To reinstate as a volunteer, you will need to be fingerprinted again. This is a requirement of the Department of Justice.

Please don’t leave us! We do not want to lose any of our wonderful volunteers, so we are asking you to make sure your TB status is current. Check with your school if you’re not sure.

Special extended Deadline to update TB results is May 24.

You can bring the paperwork to your school’s front office.

Your primary care physician and many urgent care centers can provide TB tests.

Folsom Hills has been named a Project Lead The Way Distinguished School for the 2018-2019 school year!

Project Lead The Way is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program used by elementary, middle and high schools across the United States.

This is a wonderful honor, and can be attributed to the extensive and close relationship between the Folsom Hills PTA and our teachers.

PTA has used part of your generous Fox Fund donations to support this program over the years, and teacher Mercedes Kirk, our PLTW lead, has spent countless hours training and supporting Folsom Hills teachers (and others throughout the district and state) in this phenomenal STEM program.
