NEXT SERIES BEGINS SEPTEMBER 5th. Research based classes for parents and their children ages 7-17. The classes are created to support and encourage the development of strong family ties, promote the integration of key principles in daily decision-making and assist with keeping kids safe from risk. The program features structured family activities, family meetings, children’s games and activity planning.
Earlier this year at Oak Chan Elementary School’s ‘Back to School Night,’ something new was unveiled on campus: a book vending machine. It works as one normally would but instead of snacks, it’s books, and rather than cash, it’s special gold coins.

About 30 students from Folsom High and Cordova High recently had the opportunity to learn more about Historically Black Colleges and Universities - and several received on-the-spot admissions based on their grades and SAT scores!
Led by instructor MSgt Phil Magreevy, the cadets and color guard raised a special version of the American Flag, inscribed with the names of the nearly 3,000 victims who died in the historic attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Folsom Cordova’s annual Family Engagement Summer Academy took place at White Rock Elementary School earlier this year. What years ago started as a summer meal program for kids turned into a full summer learning camp where kids can stay active and continue learning in the summer.
