ATTENTION 4TH AND 5TH GRADE STUDENTS! If you're interested in running for a position on the 2022-2023 Student Council, click on the link for everything you need to know. Student Council Candidates will give their speeches on Thursday, September 29th, at 8:30a in the Gold Ridge Amphitheater. Voting in will take place in 3rd-5th grade classrooms after the speeches.
ATTENTION ALL GOLD RIDGE PARENTS WHO WORK AT INTEL: We are looking for volunteers to participate in PC Pals, a mentoring program where Intel employees email a student twice a week to encourage, inspire, and guide them to work hard and to be successful in school. In addition to directly benefiting the participating students, the PC Pals program also brings money to Gold Ridge. Click on the link for more information, including how to become a PC Pals mentor.
The Eagle Fund replaces traditional fundraising. 100% of each donation goes directly to Gold Ridge students and classrooms. There are incentives for donations, including individual prizes and a popsicle party for the class with the highest percentage of participation by SEPTEMBER 30TH. The 2022-2023 Sly Park Field Trip for 5th Grade students is scheduled for November 14-18, 2022. This is an amazing experience for our 5th graders, and it is our hope that all students are able to attend. Click on the link to view the Sly Park informational flyers with more information.

One of the most successful elements of learning is regular, on-time attendance at school. If your student must miss school, click on the link for detailed information on how to report an absence and request an Independent Study Agreement for a planned absence that is 3-14 consecutive school days in length.
For the 2022-2023 school year, every student is allowed one breakfast and one lunch per day at no cost. FCUSD Food Services is requesting that all families complete a school meal application; the information collected ensures that all district schools receive additional funding. If your child would like to ride a bicycle or scooter to school please complete a Bicycle/Scooter Permission Form and submit it to the school office. Permission slips are available in the office or you can click on the link to download and print the form at home.
