  • Vista del Lago capacity update: Board approves temporary cap

On Thursday, Nov. 15, the FCUSD Board of Education approved the District’s recommendation to implement a temporary enrollment cap of 1,850-1,900 students at Vista del Lago, effective for the upcoming school year (2019-20).

    Here’s what will happen next:

On Dec. 13, the District will take to the Board a proposal for criteria to be used to determine enrollment priority should registrations exceed capacity. Additionally, the District will propose new registration deadlines, which are expected to fall in mid-to-late January 2019.

This proposal will be communicated well in advance of the Dec. 13 Board meeting so that stakeholders continue to have an opportunity to provide input. Additionally, the District will communicate the Board’s decisions and next steps in the process so families have enough time to plan before the registration period opens.

Questions: Contact Secondary Instruction at 916-294-9000.
