Registration FAQ
- How do I access my account?
We've undergone several upgrades over the last two years to provide a more streamlined process for our families. If you are trying to log in to one of the previous versions of Procare, you will not be able to access your account. Please go to www.connect.schoolcareworks.com. If you forgot your login credentials, you can ask the Site Lead to look up your username, and then you can reset your password using the “reset password” link on the login page.

How do I change my Procare username and password?
Contact your site lead for your username. To change your password, use the “Forgot Password” link or update it in your account settings.
- Why am I enrolling to a waitlist when I want to enroll into the program?
Enrolling to our waitlist is the first step in our registration process. All families are required to join the waitlist, so our team can review applications and place children based on priority (verified families in transition, low income, ELA)
and availability.

How do I know if my registration to the waitlist is complete?
You will receive a confirmation email from ProCare when you have completed the enrollment to the waitlist. If you have received this email, you are enrolled to the waitlist. When a space becomes available, Expanded Learning Office staff will contact you to complete the registration process.

How much is my registration fee?
There is an initial $75 fee per student or $100 per family per school year.
Registration fees for ELO-P and ASES qualifying students will be covered through ELO-P. If you believe you qualify for ELO-P, please contact the Expanded Learning Office.
Families whose fees are paid by an outside agency (e.g., Child Action, CalWORKs) are responsible for any fees not covered by that agency unless they qualify for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. Parents participating in outside programs are responsible for submitting all required paperwork to their worker or agency.

I am receiving a message stating I have not met the prerequisite to complete registration.
You must have at least two contacts listed under “Guardian.”
- Go to the “Personal” tab.
- Click “Add New Contact.”
- For each contact, include a relationship, contact type, name, and phone number.
- Select “Yes” for “Apply to all children.”
- Click “Save.”

How do I complete the Parent Orientation?
Once you complete your registration, click the “Logout” button in the top-right corner. A new window will appear with a Google Form labeled Expanded Learning Parent Orientation.
If the link does not open, you can find it in the “Announcements” section on your Schoolcare Works homepage.
