Please be aware that all of our Expanded Learning Student Care and ASES sites are impacted. In many cases, we will not have enough available spots in Student Care or ASES to offer the service to everyone who adds their name to a waitlist. Availability and wait times depend on the school site, and can vary from year to year. If Student Care or ASES have not offered you a spot in your school's program by February 1 of the current school year, you will need to add your name to the following school year's waitlist. The waitlists do not roll over from one school year to the next. For questions or more information, please call our ASES Office at 916-294-9090 Dept. 3 or the Student Care office at 916-294-9091.
Please note, we only call people from the waitlist if we have a spot available for your student in the Student Care or ASES Program at your school site. Adding your name to the waitlist does not guarantee you a spot in our programs.
Please see the link below to add your information to the waitlist.

“Expanded learning” means before school, after school, summer, or intersession
learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and
physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on engaging learning
experiences. It is the intent of the Legislature that expanded learning programs
are pupil-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement,
but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.
