2023-2024 Bus Pass Application (available after July 1, 2023)
UPDATE AUGUST 30, 2023:
As of August 30, 2023, due to the number of students utilizing the school bus services, we have reached maximum capacity, and unfortunately, we must announce the closure of school bus pass applications for Cordova High, Mitchell Middle, Mills Middle, Sutter Middle and Folsom Middle. Our priority is to ensure the safety and comfort of all students during their commute. Therefore, we have taken steps to avoid exceeding the bus capacity and to maintain an appropriate student-to-bus ratio.
Due to the nationwide shortage of school bus drivers,we are short-handed and we are doing our best to hire and retain our staff. We are currently in the process of training new drivers, which will alleviate the overcrowding issues that we are facing on the buses. We are uncertain of the time frame as situations change all the time, but I can assure you that we are doing our best.
We will re-open the applications as our staffing and resources improve. We encourage parents to consider alternative means of transportation during this period. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and we want to assure you that we are exploring all possible alternatives to accommodate every student's transportation needs.
