VAPA Summer Enrichment Camp!

We are pleased to announce that the Elementary Music, Art & PE Department will be holding our 8th annual Visual and Performing Arts Summer Enrichment Camp! The camp is tentatively scheduled to run from Thursday 6/5/25 through Wednesday, 6/18/25 The hours are 8:15 am to 11:45 am and are located at both Gold Ridge Elementary School and Rancho Cordova Elementary School. 

The camp is open to currently enrolled FCUSD students who are in 5th grade in the current school year. 4th grade students may enroll in the program if spaces are available. The program is staffed with credentialed special teachers who are passionate about the arts. Students will engage in Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Theater. We will be using a Disney Junior program, such as Finding Nemo, as our curriculum for all subject areas and culminate with a parent production. It is vital that your student attends every day, for the whole camp. Please don't plan vacations, doctor appointments, swim lessons, etc., or other events during the camp. We believe that to truly engage in our VAPA camp, students must participate daily. Enrollment opens mid-April 2025 and families will be notified via email.
