VAPA Camp Information

We are pleased to announce that the VAPA Department held our 9th annual Visual and Performing Arts Camp at both Gold Ridge Elementary School and Rancho Cordova Elementary School over the summer.

• The camp is open to currently enrolled FCUSD students who are in 5th grade in the current school year. 4th grade students may enroll in the program if spaces are available. The program is staffed with credentialed special teachers who are passionate about the arts. Students will engage in Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Theater. We will be using a Junior Broadway program, such as Shrek, as our curriculum for all subject areas and culminate with a parent production.

• Please note: It is required that your student attends every day, for the duration of camp. Please don't plan vacations, doctor appointments, swim lessons, etc., or other events during the camp. We believe that to truly engage in our VAPA camp and be part of the team, students must engage, attend and participate daily.
