    Garden today

Do you like to garden? We need you!

The NSE Garden is looking for Garden Docents as well as Community Garden Crew members.  Our NSE Garden is part of our school and our community and that is why we need your help keeping it growing!

    Garden Docent:

Garden Docents share the garden with the classroom. Garden Docents support our garden by working with a classroom teacher to take students out to the garden in small groups of five or less. Garden Docents lead students in garden observations, work or activities.

    Community Garden Crew:

Community Garden Crew members help ensure our garden stays green and growing. Community Garden Crew members help to clean and maintain the garden. Community Garden Crew members can come daily, weekly or monthly.

** If you are interested in being a Garden Docent and/or part of our Community Garden Crew, please contact Mrs. Cameron at kcameron@fcusd.org **

Our 1st meeting for Garden Docent’s and Community Crew Members will be Tuesday, September 24th from 4:00 pm -5:00 pm. Please join us in the garden for more information. There will be a second meeting on Saturday, October 5th from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.

This project could not be possible without the support of NSEF-PTO, school staff, teachers, many local business,  and community members.
