• English as a Second Language (ESL)

    The ESL program is for non-native speakers of English who want to improve their language skills. All classes integrate reading, writing, listening, speaking, technology, and more. To enroll into an ESL class, students must first register at Folsom Cordova Adult School.

    Class Schedules 

    ESL all levels at Adult Education: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-11:30am

    ESL all levels at Adult Education: Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-8:30pm

    Vocational ESL for workplace skills: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-11:30am

    United States Citizenship: Wednesdays 5:30pm-8:30pm

    ESL at Theodore Judah Elementary: Monday-Thursday 8:45am-10:45am 

    ESL at Cordova Meadows Elementary: Tuesday-Thursday 6:30pm-8:30pm 

    ESL at White Rock Elementary: Tuesday-Thursday 8:45am-11:15am 

    Speaking and Listening: M/W 12:00pm-1:00pm

    Grammar and Writing: T/Th 12:00pm-1:00pm

    Distance Learning: Monday-Thursday 11:45am-1:00pm

    Career Choices and Changes for Advanced ESL:  Monday-Thursday 9:00am-11:30am


    Registration is completed in person at the Folsom Cordova Adult School office. Please fill-out the registration form and attend an orientation session for testing and placement.

    Note: A person must be 18 years or older to attend an ESL class at Folsom Cordova Adult School.
