My name is Mrs. Tat and I am so excited to have you or your student(s) in my class this year! I am one of the Integrated Science 8 teachers at Mills this 2022-2023 school year.

I am a Taiwanese-Chinese-American who loves to try new food and play basketball.

I became a teacher because I spent 10 summers volunteering in Miao Li, Taiwan to teach kids that had limited access to a strong English education. During that time, my passion to serve students and help them see themselves as worthy, kind, and capable was sparked. The moment that teaching captured my heart was when a student thanked me for being the first person who ever made them feel worthy of being loved.
