    IMPORTANT CLOSED CAMPUS SAFETY NOTICE: Mather Heights is a closed campus between 7:30am-4:00pm. Please help keep our students and staff safe by observing the following important guildelines. 

    • Please remain in your vehicle when picking up your student.
    • If walking, please designate a meeting place off campus with your child.  Non-employees are not to be on campus.

     

    Hybrid Families-Please remember the following guidelines when coming to campus:

    • Our campus is closed to adults during school hours (7:30-4). If you are walking, please drop your student off at the designated "hug and go" area. Make sure you have a designated meeting place after school.  If you are driving, please drop your student off at the designated curb and remain in your car.
    • If you have more than one student, please ask the eldest to stand with the younger child(ren) during pick up to help the process go smoother and faster.
    • Please do not "leap frog" other cars. This can be dangerous as well as delay the line.  Your patience is appreciated.
    • Please do not block the firelane or crosswalk.  Wait for the cars to pull up then drive around the curb to the sidewalk area.
    • Please pull forward when waiting for your student as cars leave.
    • Please remain in your car!  We will help your children find you!
    • Masks are to be worn by students and parents at all times on campus.  We must practice safety precautions at all times to ensure the health and well-being of the school.  Please make sure your student has a clean, well fitting mask daily.

    Returning student registration

    Your student should have already received their returning enrollment envelope. If you have not received the envelope, please contact the office.  Please be sure to read the front of the envelope, fill out and check the appropriate items, include your annual proof of residency and sign.  Envelopes can be returned the following ways: Placed in the drop box in front of the school, returned in your materials envelope (virtual students) or returned to your teacher (hybrid students).  Online registration opened Feb. 1st. If you are unable to complete the online portion, please contact the office as soon as possible.  5th GRADE FAMILIES-your registration information will be coming directly from your home Middle School. If you live outide of FCUSD boundaries, please contact your home Middle School directly.

    Birthday Announcements are back!

    Celebrate your student's special day on the school marquee!  Print out and fill out the BIRTHDAY REQUEST form and return it along with $5 cash our check (made out to Mather Heights PTA) to the drop box in front of the school.  There are also preprinted requests available by the doorbell on the table in front of the office.  **PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR REQUEST IS SUBMITTED THE WEEK BEFORE YOUR STUDENTS BIRTHDAY AT THE LATEST**

    Attendance Counts!

    If your student will be absent from hybrid or virtual instruction for any reason, you must report the absence to the school.  Please call the school's attendance line the morning of the absence @ 916-294-2440 ext. 1.  Please leave the following information in your message:

    • Student first and last name
    • Teacher/Grade
    • Date(s) of your student's absence(s)
    • Your name and relation to the student
    • Reason for the absence (sick, Dr appt, out of town, etc.)

    *Mather Heights is looking for a DELAC representative.  This must be a parent of an English Learner student.  The DELAC representative is a parent that plays a vital role in meetings such as the School Site Council, DELAC meetings, and will be invited to the Superintendant's Communication Committee.     This year’s annual state mandated vision and hearing screening will be conducted at Mather Heights on Tuesday March 16th and Wednesday March 17th for AM and PM in-person and Distance Learning students in Kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th grades.

    In-person students will be tested during school hours, teachers will notify Distance Learning students of their scheduled time slots. Please come to the library and enter from the outside door in the back. Please come at the scheduled time for your grade and teacher.

    Hybrid Families-Please remember the following guidelines when coming to campus:

    • Our campus is closed to adults during school hours (7:30-4). If you are walking, please drop your student off at the designated "hug and go" area. Make sure you have a designated meeting place after school.  If you are driving, please drop your student off at the designated curb and remain in your car.
    • If you have more than one student, please ask the eldest to stand with the younger child(ren) during pick up to help the process go smoother and faster.
    • Please do not "leap frog" other cars. This can be dangerous as well as delay the line.  Your patience is appreciated.
    • Please do not block the firelane or crosswalk.  Wait for the cars to pull up then drive around the curb to the sidewalk area.
    • Please pull forward when waiting for your student as cars leave.
    • Please remain in your car!  We will help your children find you!
    • Masks are to be worn by students and parents at all times on campus.  We must practice safety precautions at all times to ensure the health and well-being of the school.  Please make sure your student has a clean, well fitting mask daily.

    Returning student registration

    Your student should have already received their returning enrollment envelope. If you have not received the envelope, please contact the office.  Please be sure to read the front of the envelope, fill out and check the appropriate items, include your annual proof of residency and sign.  Envelopes can be returned the following ways: Placed in the drop box in front of the school, returned in your materials envelope (virtual students) or returned to your teacher (hybrid students).  Online registration opened Feb. 1st. If you are unable to complete the online portion, please contact the office as soon as possible.  5th GRADE FAMILIES-your registration information will be coming directly from your home Middle School. If you live outide of FCUSD boundaries, please contact your home Middle School directly.

    Celebrate your students special day on the school marquee!  Print out and fill out the BIRTHDAY REQUEST form and return it along with $5 cash our check (made out to Mather Heights PTA) to the drop box in front of the school.  **PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR REQUEST IS SUBMITTED THE WEEK BEFORE YOUR STUDENTS BIRTHDAY AT THE LATEST**

    Attendance Counts!

    If your student will be absent from hybrid or virtual instruction for any reason, you must report the absence to the school.  Please call the school's attendance line the morning of the absence @ 916-294-2440 ext. 1.  Please leave the following information in your message:

    • Student first and last name
    • Teacher/Grade
    • Date(s) of your student's absence(s)
    • Your name and relation to the student
    • Reason for the absence (sick, Dr appt, out of town, etc.)
