The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a national, non-profit organization.

Purpose of the National PTA is child advocacy. 

The PTA also exists on the state and local levels. The Cordova Meadows PTA is a local PTA unit supporting students, teachers and Cordova Meadows Elementary.
