Good morning everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. There are new lessons up on my class news page and new videos for this week. This week Kindergarten is working on locomotor movements and rolling a ball. 1st graders and 2nd Graders are working on kicking a stationary ball. 3rd-5th Graders are continuing working on soccer skills.
I will be posting lessons weekly on my website. Your teachers should provide you with a link. These exercises and skill lessons should be completed during your afternoon time. The lesson should take no more than 20 minutes. Please try to do these lessons 1-3 times a week. Our goal is to get 20-60 minutes of exercise per day. That can be a combination of our PE lessons and any physical activity you do on your own. Examples would include exercise videos, biking, swimming, hiking, running, soccer, basketball, jumping rope, etc.
In addition, I will continue popping into your classroom meetings for quick PE lessons once a week. I look forward to seeing you there and checking on your understanding and progress.
