Orchestra is a performance-based course for violin, viola, cello and bass. During this course, students will play a variety of level-appropriate repertoire, develop music reading and theory skills, and learn and expand upon instrumental skills and techniques. Music listening and music appreciation will be included.

    - Intermediate/Beginning Orchestra is for students who have none up to two years experience on their instrument. This class teaches students the foundational skills and techniques they will need for Advanced.

    - Advanced Orchestra is a two-year course for 7th and 8th graders. The music is different each year and there are various performance opportunities. Skills and techniques are built upon from one year to the next. Students notice their playing gets better as they continue, and they enjoy getting to play more challenging music and play with their friends!

Check out this slideshow to hear from current Orchestra students why they love orchestra!
