B.I.G. team placed in the top half of the state with Khamille Nadone placing in the top 25 individually with over 120 contestants! Great Job Lancers!

Congratulations to all students who participated in the
Arbuckle Field Day!!!
Freshmen Khamille Nadone and Audrey cole competed in the Best Informed Greenhand Contest.
Khamille was 6th place overall individual and 1st place in the multiple choice section of the test.
Freshmen Audrey Cole competed in the FFA Creed Recital.
Audrey placed 44th out of 98 participants, TOP HALF!!
Junior Shelby Graham competed in the Job Interview contest.
Sophomores Claire Pearce and Colton Trotter and Junior Shelby Graham competed in the Agriculture Marketing Co-Op contest.
Co-Op team placed 6th out of 23 teams.
Students are currently preparing to copete at the Tulelake
Field Day on Wednesday February 17th. Wish them luck as
they gear up to compete in the best informed greenhand
contest and agriculture marketing co-op!

February is awesome because at the end of the month it is NATIONAL FFA WEEK! Woohoo!!! That being said, there will not be a february meeting. Instead the Cordova FFA Officer Team is excited to invite you to participate in activities each day at lunch/afterschool for the entire week!
See you Feb 22- 26 Lancers! Non-FFA members are more than welcome to come participate so invite your friends!

The following are items that we commonly go through during the school year. I try to provide a class set, but donations are always greatly appreciated in these consumables.

Chesnut
My door is always open to students, parents and staff. I like to bring the real world into my classroom as much as possible teach through realia and hands on instruction. My classes are rigorous yet exciting and I ty to inspire a sense of wonder in all my students. We will discuss concepts as they pertain to agriculture as well as STEM in an investigative environment. All of my classes will be centered around Google Classroom, links can be found in the "helpful links" tab.
Some fun facts about me:
- I have worked as a mechanical bull operator
- Raise cattle and rabbits
- FFA American Degree recipient
- Family has been farming same land for 100+ years
- I love ALL music from heavy metal to opera to gangster rap and everything in between
- Tacos are life
- I have pet cats and chickens(and yes, each chicken has her own name)
- I play in an adult volleyball and softball league and live for weight lifting in the gym.
