    Dear Cordova Gardens Families,

    Here is your gardens’ week at a glance for 2/22 to 2/26 (The EAGLE’S Nest).  This is a weekly update that is posted every sunday before the start of the school week.  It is a place for you to get updates regarding the school and the district. This week at a glance document will also be available for you on the website on the parent tab under the “Week at a Glance” sub tab.

    Updates/Upcoming Events/Important reminders: 

    • 2/22 Monday Optional picture day for distance learners, please accompany your child and only come at your scheduled time (schedule is based off of your child's teacher.  It is okay to bring siblings attending different classes at the same time. Schedule info here: CLICK HERE
    • 2/18 Picture Makeups 3:30 to 4:30, Monday 2/22.
    • Friday 2/26 will be the end of the Trimester. Friday will be like a Monday schedule: There will be a morning meeting and then asynchronous work for the remainder of the day for all students (distance and in-person).  In-person students will not be attending on-site classes on Friday 2/26.

    • Remember to social distance from families outsite of the gates during arrival and dismissal.
    • Remember to wear a mask outside of the gates during arrival and dismissal.
    • Please remember to drop off and pick up at designated times.
    • Please remember if you child is sick, please do not send them to school--contact the front office and your child will be excused.  Click here  for information related to COVID-19 screening.
        • We will be asking in-person families to complete a daily screening verification for your child as they arrive in their classroom Tuesday through Friday.
        • Students received a pad of green COVID-19 screening tickets on 1/22.
        • Parents will sign the daily green ticket verifying they have screening their child, and they will send that ticket with their child to school.  Classroom teacher will collect.

    • NEXT packet pick up Thursday 2/25 2:45 to 4:30.
      • Returning students will receive registration envelops 1/28, either in class or through packet pickup on 1/28
      • Distance Learners please return your registration envelop to the school! You can drop it in the lockbox infront of the office.
    • Help us with our 4th Annual PTA sponsored Readathon:  Last day to help donate 2/25
      • Let's celebrate reading and raise money for our school!  100% of the money raised will go back to our school for help with supplies, classroom items, books, and so much more
      • Donations can be sent with students to school or dropped in our lockbox outside the office.

    • Help us fill out our California School Parent Survey for 20-21
      • Your school needs you to complete this online survey to learn more about your opinions about it. This survey is an opportunity to communicate your perceptions about your child’s school.  This letter explains the survey and, at the bottom of the page, provides your URL and access instructions.
