    Student Leader Registration is OPEN.

    *Applications will be accepted until May 14th.

    21/22 Junior and Senior Leader Training!!!

     

    *1st Training: July 30th, 2021 from 8-12 pm.

    *2nd Training: August 2nd, 2021 from 8-12 pm.

     

    Qualities we are looking for in leaders are:

     -Strong communication skills

    -Willingness to lead others

    -Responsible enough to manage a group

    -Accountable to show up throughout all phases of the program during the year

    -Willing to take positive risks

    -Interest in helping others

    -Positive role model

    -Dedicated-Self-confident and self

    -Has respect for diverse ideas and personalities

    -enthusiastic

     

    All Link Crew Leaders will need to be available during the following dates for training, orientation and meetings:

    Link Leader Trainings (Student Leaders only): #1. July 30th  from 8-12PM

                                                                                 #2. August 2nd  from 8-12PM

    Freshman Orientation (Student Leaders and 9th grade students): August 4th from 8:30-12:30PM

    Link Leader Meeting (Student Leaders only): August 12th (2nd day after school) from 3:15-3:45PM

     

    Please understand that due to the COVID-19 situation, these dates and times may change. We may also have to change our traditional orientation and leadership activities to abide by certain CDC guidelines. We will make sure to communicate these changes and regulations with all parties before we begin our trainings, orientation and meetings.

    21/22 Link Crew Orientation

    Link Crew Orientation is coming soon! 9th grade Orientation is happening on August 4th at 8:30am !

     

    A Junior or Senior Link Leader from the Folsom High School will be contacting you to invite your 9th grade student to our virtual Freshmen Orientation that will take place on Wednesday, August 4th! Freshman orientation will be completely online this year.

    Your student will be placed in a group with other incoming freshman and at least one Link Crew Leader. They will get to know one another and complete a few activities virtually.

    Our hope is that we will be able to complete an in-person orientation when we return to campus. If you have questions.

     

    What exactly is Link Crew?

    Link Crew is a high school transition program for our Incoming 9th grade students who are new to our high school. Link Crew Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the freshman to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school and help facilitate freshman success.
