Hello Eagles!

My name is Shawn Lundberg. This is my 2nd year as principal at Gold Ridge Elementary. My background… I taught 7th grade history and English at Folsom Middle for 11 years, and also served as the teaching assistant-principal/designee. During my last 4 years at FMS, I also served as the summer school principal at FMS, Mills, Folsom High and Vista Del Lago. Prior to coming to Gold Ridge, I was principal at Folsom Hills Elementary for 14 years.

Some personal information… my husband and I, as well as our son, live here in Folsom, and are active community members. Our son went to Oak Chan, Folsom Middle, and Vista Del Lago, so our school involvement has always been entrenched and local. My policy is always open-door and casual; you will find me meeting students each morning and seeing them off each afternoon, and my personal goal is to interact each day with every classroom. This practice has served me well at all of my previous sites, and it is one I shall continue.
