Hi! Welcome to 5th grade 2019-2020!

 

Students this coming year will meld many skills and concepts, predominantly the STEM (PLTW) program.  Science will be integrated into all curricular areas to enhance

the students' ability to apply the thinking and reasoning process as a whole.  

 

I am committed to preparing your students for middle school and its rigorous programs! Our students will demonstrate organizational and leadership skills that will facilitate that experience as well as essay writing and interactive notebooks that are integral to success in the current and ensuing years.

 

I have 20 years of teaching experience, with the majority in grades 4-8.  I taught for 12 years in New Mexico and the remaining years here in California.  I have called Folsom home for 4+ years and enjoy all this community has to offer.
