Career Center- Information on universities, community colleges, CTE programs, trade schools, employment, military, summer programs, gap year, financial aid and more
Colleges at FHS- Speak with admissions officers during PAWS presentations and lunchtime visits. Find out who is coming to campus at our College Visit page. Information also available via daily bulletin, Bulldog newsletter, Naviance Student, FHS Team Up Calendar, College/Career Center bulletin board and text alerts through Remind.
Community Programs- Information on local college fairs, workshops, presentations, most not affiliated with Folsom High.
Workshops- Sign up to attend a PAWS workshop on topics including resume building, interview skills, college exploration, career exploration, FAFSA and Scholarships, course planning. More information available in daily bulletin and on bulletin board.
Career Series- Sign up to hear speakers talking about different career opportunities such as National Forest Service on wildland firefighting, construction, first responder and more. Interested in being a speaker? Click here.
Military Options- Military visits are held the first and third Wednesdays of the month, in the quad, during both lunches.
Internship, Training and Job Opportunities- Internship and summer program information located in binder in counseling and posted to daily bulletin as information is received. Job opportunities listed on job board near attendance. FHS Summer CTE Preceptorship Program for juniors.
Scholarships- Information and applications for local and national scholarships available in Naviance Student and in scholarship binder in counseling office. Sign up for text notifications of new scholarship listings by texting "fhsmoney" to 81010.
Transcripts- All requests for current students must be made through naviance by the student and will be available for pick up in the counseling office. We do not mail transcripts (unless for college applications). Allow 1 business day for processing.
Naviance- Assist with questions and provide training on naviance tools.
